Today’s Midsteel group founded in 1972, has evolved from a long established Midlands based group of companies whose primary business revolved around the stockholding of carbon steel plate.

Progressively through the next three decades expansion created separate companies involved in forging bar, steel sections including flats, angles, channel and hollow sections.

During this time the company also diversified into the manufacture and stockholding of products suitable for use in the oil, gas, petrochemical and power generation industries.

The formation of Midsteel Pipeline, Midsteel Studbolts and Midsteel Contracts facilitated our entry into these rapidly developing markets supplying buttweld and forged steel fittings, flanges and high integrity bolting. Ancillary products, including seamless and welded pipe, valves and other complimentary items added value, and enhanced our growing reputation as a “package” builder.
